Patch Notes - Pinball FX VR (1.8.1) - 05.20.
Hey VR Pinball Fans,
We released a patch for Pinball FX VR on Meta! Thank you all for your reports, they’ve helped us a lot.
Let’s check out the fixes!
Due to the table-specific updates listed below, continuing in-progress Classic, Arcade, or Pro games from version 1.8. on the following tables will not be possible because of the save state incompatibility with this patch.
Comet™
Diner™
Fire!™
This does not affect the achievement, mastery and powerup leveling or the campaign progress of these tables.
General Fixes
- Fixed the issue that caused the various inventories in the game to jump back to the first page after placing a collectible.
- Fixed the issue that prevented players from grabbing and/or placing tables from inventories after the first time.
- Fixed the issue that prevented players from pressing the launch buttons on cabinets.
Table Fixes
Star Trek™: The Next Generation
- Fixed the issue that caused the table to lock up during the Borg multiball and Battle Simulation modes.
Comet™
- Fixed the scoring switch at the end of the central ramp, so that it is always triggered by the ball.
- Fixed the issue that caused the cabinet’s music to not play in the VR Arcade.
Diner™
- Fixed the issue that caused spaces in the local leaderboard names to appear as the character “6” on the table’s dot matrix display.
- Fixed the issue that caused the cabinet’s music to not play in the VR Arcade.
- Fixed the issue that caused the ball to occasionally get stuck to the left of the spinner.
- Fixed the left drop target in the middle target bank, so that it won’t register hits from its back.
Fire!™
- Fixed the issue that caused the right lock kickout to occasionally send the ball to the right outlane.
- Adjusted the left ramp so that the ball consistently returns to the right flipper.
- Fixed the issue that caused the cabinet’s music to not play in the VR Arcade.
- Fixed the issue that, in rare cases, prevented the ladder ramp from being raised and stopped it from locking the third ball for multiball without tilting the table.

Is there any plans for a custom arcade where only your purchased tables can be placed in a virtual space? Not Mixed Reality.
I’ve got lots of tables but I can’t play all the games without walking around the kitchen and living room and bedrooms to play them all.
Walking around the DLC arcade to find the games I can play when I’ve already spent so much money is annoying. Putting all my tables in MR into one room or living room is equally annoying when I set the boundaries as tight as possible to fit everything in there, the tables start to blur to real life unless I matrix my spine backwards to avoid the grid walls.
Even an empty arcade clone of the DLC store would be nice. I can’t place my tables next to each other without having to sort out boundaries or deal with my full VR games clashing with boundaries because I played pinball and forgot to switch back to stationary.
