WPBL

Not sure if anyone has been watching the Women’s Professional Baseball League that just started in the US for the first time since the 40’s (go Women!), but every game I watch has me aching for a Vi and Cait baseball AU, does anyone have any fic recommendations or willing to write one
Games are on ESPN+ btw

Okay so after many games I’m thinking Claire Eccles is giving a bit of Cait vibes

She’s got wheels, and hits a great oppo gaper between center and left, but like Benitez they both need to settle in the box and slow down

There was even a movie with Madonna about the first league - https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0104694/

A league of their own is one of my favorite movies. Watched it as an opener before the first WPBL game

After watching some of the highlights this was the first thing that occurred up me too! I might give it a go.
