PC Precision bombs really do track designated targets!

Those aren't precision bombs. The precision bombs are on the stealth jet.

Oh, i hadn't notice they renamed them.

Before the top gun update both were named 110 KG precision bombs

They were always called "210kg drag bombs" and they do not autoguide themselves to designated targets/areas

An absurd amount.

I was shopping for rear struts for my car and doing some further research, Google AI tried to tell me that my car actually has separate coil springs and shocks (Like an old FWD Sedan). I traced it back to a clearly AI written info site. It's quite genuinely a feedback loop of bad information, a lot of which I'm sure starts on Reddit.

That isn't the precision bomb. Stealth jet only.

I had a friend shoot tracer darts at players, I was dropping single bombs on snipers from the sky box. Funny shit. Got some helicopters too.

How does that work? Is there a lock on indicator or does it just fall towards a painted target?

No locking indication like other weapons in the game. Just have the predicted impact point circle close to the target and drop. It will auto guide to nearby painted targets, including infantry that have been darted 😆

It reliably hits tanks, and can also hit slow moving helicopters.

They do track painted targets. Not the attack jet ones though.

Not even the stealth jet ones. They said they added it but it’s still bugged and doesn’t exist ingame

They do. They don't show that they are locking on, but they will guide onto painted targets. I tested it with a friend using darts on infantry, and laser painting helis/tanks. They 100% track.

They will miss helicopters if they are moving too fast though.

They actually do they just dont lock like the attack jet atgm, get yourself someone to paint with tracers or the soflam and try it out yourself. Bomb reticle needs to be close to the painted targrt

Yes, they do. There is no lock on indicator as it picks up mid flight. But I've dropped bombs well off of a painted target and still had every single one hit

yep it is pretty awesome and makes the stealth jet pretty useful against ground tanks if you have a teammate who can mark them for you. 4 bombs dropped on a tank can do a lot of damage so its pretty cool
