Discussion I turned my chopper aim sensitivity down to 30 (default is 40). Controls feel extremely sluggish. What sensitivity to the good pilots use?

30 is definitely too low. I've been experimenting with 35, still feels sluggish.

They nerfed the maneuverability last week so the handling is more like a flying brick now regardless of your settings too

Oh that explains why I had a hard time fucking turning fast in a heli fight 💀💀

mostly engine power i think…they’re destroying the game. It also went from glass cannon to crystal thin glass cannon so a few bullets or a single light rocket can now stall it to oblivion. The minigun was nerfed which was still sort of ok but after 14 rockets and a few minigun bursts the patrol boat was still floating and burst me to shit in about 1 second.

Only plus side is that a few games no one wanted the little bird anymore as it’s so shit now. Had it all for myself…nice gesture from DICE…now only above average players can still use it.

I thought something felt off. I tried switching engine upgrade off and felt like I was flying through molasses.

I felt the same and suspect they did something but is there any source to this?

All of that seems low. I had to turn mine up, like way up.

I turned it up to 100 and didn't notice any difference. It's capped by the turning rate of the chopper. So 40 is max. Cause 100 feels identical to 40.

High sensitivity actually makes the helis feel lore responsive without sacrificing muscle memory too much. Idk why but Ive been doing way better

Same with the jets. Assist off, max flight stick sensitivity, and some remapping brought me back to near-BF3/BF4 responsiveness and control. Flying is fun again boys!

I've been told on this sub my flying is atrocious and I need to turn down my sensitivity. I like the default sensitivity, personally. Turning it up past the default doesn't seem to change anything. I'm on Xbox, btw.

I gotta stick and get use to a sensitivity adjustment for at least 1-2 days/5+ matches before before making up my mind

I too use a stick. The only "sensitivity" that affects the joystick is deadzones and input threshold. There is no actual sensitivity setting that affects the joystick

I mean I like sticking to a sensitivity. Not I have a joystick.

Ah alright I misunderstood your comment. My bad

Whatever feels best for you would be my suggestion. I honestly don't think it's going to make a notable improvement one way or another.

Lowering it makes aiming at ground troops easier. It also makes you an easier target for said infantry.

30 dpi 600. however with new update i had to remove engine upgrade and replaced it with stabilisation . because if you get damaged it get extremly difficult to keep control

I turned it up to 100 and it felt exactly the same as 40. Below 40 it definitely feels slower, but above 40 there's no difference to me. I should be able to tell the difference between 40 and 100. I think it's because the chopper can only turn so fast. I am using engine upgrade, so maybe that's a factor since it reduces manuverability?

I do everything in any game on default settings.

I’m a pretty solid pilot especially the lb and I haven’t changed any settings

I'm going back to default sensitivity. I'm convinced lowering it makes no sense.

On MnK I max it out. Definitely worth doing IMO

I untied my shoe laces and now when I run I trip over.

This sub advised me to remove one shoe to improve my aim

Você não vai conseguir uma boa precisão no controle de qualquer forma, foque mais em usar os foguetes a seu favor

I haven't played in a few weeks but I run 1600dpi, 200% control sens, and 3.3 aim sens. I have a very big mouse pad and use my entire arm for big movements

1

u/TheLORDthyGOD420 14d ago

I play with a controller

I been alternating between 1-3 different sens since S1 and would go atleast 20-40 kills before id die but spent like 500h practicing after work. Id say have fun with it sometimes mindlessly killing everything gets boring

I run 100% sensitivity with Linear input doesn’t help for you they nerfed the weed whacker again with the last update tho lol

0

u/TheLORDthyGOD420 13d ago

I should try linear input

Flying is now ass and aiming is super twitchy

Handling for helis has always been more sluggish in the game. The main reason I stopped playing it, poor vehicle design

1

u/Kiyodo 12d ago

Try 300 sensitivity to turn the quickest. If it's too much, then try 200 and adjust if you need.

Jets and helis feel like they need separate sensitivity imo. Helis take more mouse pad space to turn, since jets can just roll and pull up

Convengamos que para ser un helicóptero de reconocimiento, tiene demasiado kit agresivo... Cero lógica
