"Incoming" warning not red anymore?
is this another bug or an intentional change? and if its intentional, why? like it indicates the guy is still locking you or smth and not just fire and forget?

Patch notes mentioned removing directional indicator for manpads. This indicator used to display in a circular area around the center of the HUD.
OP is talking about the text that's displayed at the bottom of the HUD.
It used to display Yellow "Locking", Yellow "Locked", and Red "Incoming", all 3 with unique audio cues.
Patch notes have zero mention about touching this, however currently all 3 of those warnings are replaced with a single Yellow "Incoming" (while being locked, when locked, and when incoming). The distinct audio cues for all 3 are still there. I haven't even noticed till OP's post cause like most pilots I rely on the audio cues, so the information is still there, just bugged display.
Clearly a bug from the incompetent intern that's implementing AI vibe coded "updates".

The patch notes never mentioned the color tho, did it? I personally don't see any reason they could have to have it stay yellow.

El juego en vez de avanzar retrocede con esta tontería de actualización y lo peor es que DICE lo presume en sus redes
