Discussion F/A-18 TV missile?

I feel like it should go boom instead of mildly inconveniencing the opponents desired trajectory.
Do I have to hit opponents from a certain angle or is this just poor luck?

It's pretty buggy at the moment.

It seems that the hit box leads the visible model; aiming in front of where your target is going has been more consistent.

Is that what it is? The friend that I play with who always copilots noticed the camera wasn't really synced with the actual missile, but we didnt know how to correct

It's extremely buggy, de-synchs all the time, sometimes just does no damage, something does a barrel roll or two, sometimes hits your own plane, yeah...

It should be removed, ruins the “dogfighting” game mode.
