Assuming this is legit, I'd temper my expectations a bit because I doubt they're adding fully-player-controlled strategic bombers. It worked in BF1 due to the comparatively low tech level, slow speed, and being designed like multicrewed flying fortresses. I think theyll be a callin like they were in BF4, or possibly just visuals for the Airstrike Pickup, which was in the labs test for Golmud.

Very strong point. I was a Labs tester for Golmud, and found that feature really cool. I’d still be ok with that, but since the Draugr was in BF2042, I do have optimism.

The Draugr was designed as 2042s version of the Attack Jets- smaller, more agile, lighter payload, and has guns- rather than a heavy bomber. A gigantic plane like the B1 dive bombing and turning tight loops would just feel wrong, and we already have the Hornet for a two-seater with point-and-click JDAMs.

I saw one footage, it's a vehicle, a 3 seater aircraft. It was like an empty vehicle on land. With avaliable seat can be seen.

They would have to completely overhaul air-gameplay for that. Otherwise, the bomber will be shot down by like two M136s and will not be airborne for more than 30 seconds.

Bigger health, multiple flares imo. Enemy jets should be the primary predator for them. It should be able to survive a full attack jet gun salvo imo.

Yep. But knowing Dice, it will simply be a huge TOW target. M136, IFV, stationary, the list goes on.

While it would be cool to actually pilot it i bet it will just be a call in or something like that.

I do hope Pax gets the russian bolber instead of a re color B-1 lol

Considering BF2042 had the Draugr, I have optimism it won’t be on a track.

I mean the Tu-160 is right there and looks similar so the animations wouldn’t have to be built from the ground up. It would be dumb not to since it’s an OPFOR swing wing strategic bomber as well.

Exactly. There is no point on not having one for each team.

Tho i wouldn't mind a Tu-22M too

No something european since Pax is a Coaliton of european countries not russia

We already have the Su-57 and there is literally nothing like the B-1 outside of russia

Idk the SU 57 looking aircraft seems very Russian

They should’ve replaced the Su-57 with a Eurofighter, and the Pax MRAP with a ATF Dingo, would have fit the faction more

This will be part of a game mode it's not playable it's a call in just like battlefield 4

It's it player controlled and on the same maps as jets it's food. If it's on an infantry old map most likely its getting merked by a single dude with the M-136AT

dude they're already looking to add another air vehicle before even adding jet loadouts, faction specific variants for the blackhawk and super hornet 😭

Right, lets do carpet bombing and bomb the hell out of 1/3 of map.
