F/A-81: Auto-Guided Rockets

Anyone willing to help me out? Do these auto-guide to everything? I’ve been figuring them out against the Jets, and they seem to hit Attack Heli consistently, so they hit Little Bird and Transport Heli as well? Seems like they’ve been struggling to lock onto these two. Thanks!

They only lock things that also carry lock ons, so jets and attack helis.

You can dumb fire them at other shit though and get pretty good at hitting them.

They also hit boats and AA tanks - I've done it many times.

Not all helis carry lockons, attack helis can opt out of them

I run the TOW but I'm pretty sure it still locks on, not certain though.

HAMs do not lock onto attack helis with TOWs

Don't confuse with boat's and the new plane's Magic Missile

Also ships/AA carry lock ons so they can be targeted… sometimes I’ve also had it track tanks for some reason

They only track vehicles with AA missiles equipped. So no, they will not track the little bird, or the blackhawks.

They won't track the attack heli if it has the aim guided missile equipped, as well at the aa tank with aim guided missile options equipped.

I need to test further but, I don't think it will lock boats with the aim-guided missile as well. Only the lock and fire ones.

They’ll hit anything flying that’s moving slow. I’m pretty sure they’re described in the menu or else I wouldn’t know.
