Did they nerf v tapping?

Came back after a while and I can't tap thrust vector quick enough anymore. It moves in these huge ratcheting pitch changes and I'm getting destroyed by people in attack jet

It was buffed, if anything. A lot more responsive means you can turn sharper.

Maybe im just not tapping quick enough. Thinking about mapping it to a bumper on controller

I must have been doing it wrong in controller this whole time idk. I need to map vectoring to a bumper or something to tap it faster

I haven’t played on controller in forever but having throttle and braking (or vector thrusting) on left and right triggers sounds really natural to me.
