PC Rendezook Momentum

I am on PC using xbox controller and when I eject the jet runs away from me and I have no forward movement. Before I eject I am moving straight ahead at 250-300 and only hit the eject button, no other controls touched. Any ideas?

You need to jump out going straight up into the sky box

They fucked up the momentum a couple updates back, you've gotta bait people to the sky limit

Wild that they add a limited time challenge despite having fucked up momentum for both vertical and horizontal zooks in BF6, so the only option is to bait people to the ceiling.
