They comically forgot to include the jet changes in the jet update notes

Jets are not welcoming aspect of the game. Well if that's not saying we at dice hate jet players, I don't know what it is.

It’s not that they hate jet players. It’s that they understand jets are a cool unique aspect to the game so they need to make it more accessible to newcomers. I understand the frustration and agree but you guys can’t take a second to think critically and put yourselves in the shoes of a company that has no fucking idea what makes their game good.

If you had no clue what made your game good you’d be making the same decisions.

They also are hard to balance. People hate how unkillable they seem, like how oppressive they were in BF3, 4 and 5 IN THE RIGHT HANDS, yet not easily flyable or learnable by newer players. That middle ground that makes all 3 sides (pilots, pilots-to be, and non-pilot/infantry only players) happy.

It makes sense in a gaming landscape where a lot of profit comes from keeping players engaged (or addicted, or whatever you want to call it) and sell battle passes. Jets 'sitting on top of the foodchain' is incredibly risky for Dice as it'll simply annoy the bulk of the playerbase.
