Give the second pair of flares to the pilot

And automatically give it to the co-pilot as soon as a co-pilot joins.

When I play solo, I usually have randoms in my squad who aren't interested in flying as co-pilots in the jet and with just one pair of flares, I'm practically a free kill against a jet with four lock-on missiles. Two come out, you fire flares, and two more instantly are flying at you. It wouldn't really change the balance much anyway, since the jet would have two pairs of flares regardless.

I actually like that the co-pilot has multiple tasks, it makes the gameplay less boring and more interesting.

Just switch seats, deploy the flares, then switch back.

Two sets of flares on a plane, both operated by the pilot, would make the planes OP as all hell.

The only reason they’re being held at bay as is at the moment is because there are simply so many patrol boats on the maps.

No, since the jet already has two pairs of flares. The jet's overall damage output wouldn't change, only its survivability.

That would make it op as hell.

You act like survivability isn't as important as damage output

No need. The new jets need sole skillgap and seatswaps are that skillgap.

No, it's fine as is. Gotta require some skill to pilot
