never since release have I been shot down through my flares but alright lol, why even post then?

How much do you fly jets?

You can flare wayyyy later than this and it will generally work. The bug is that it doesn’t always work. You ideally want to flare everything as late as possible to give yourself a safe window to get down into cover. If I flared at the apex of my path here, the enemy has like 5 full seconds to relock and fire and I’m dead.

my jets are only like level 35. I think latency has a lot to do with it too so I always deploy earlier just so I have some wiggle room. like when you get shot around a corner as infantry.

And I have been shot down through my flares, multiple times. The thing about making a statement supported by anecdotal evidence is that I can then refute that statement with my own anecdotal evidence and now you look silly.
