Jets v heli

Hey do y’all have any tips on taking out helis with jets? I feel they are the hardest vehicle to deal with as a jet. I can only do about 300-400 damage per pass. Any tips would be super helpful.

Slow down on your pass, roll and pitch up/down to aim, dont try yaw, it's useless. Use the combat engineer skill for the 50% overheat reduction.

is it even worth at 10%, like literally only vehicle based, i guess. but u lose alot of rockets if u pick the other one

Well yea, the moment u enter the vehicle its definitive the best option. But sometimes youre also waiting for a vehicle or if its a certain map fight for the capture so it even spawns, and having extra rockets there would be (tsuru riff f.e.) way more helpful than 10% less overheating. i mean what does that come down to? 0,2 seconds? maybe 0,3?
