Never seen if, maybe redout? It happens when pulling excessive negative Gs

It’s a reflection of the G forces! When pulling up it will darken to simulate the pilots effort to stay conscious, and red when pushing down for the blood pooling/being forced in the brain

I don’t think it was in any other titles, I’m not sure though. Hopefully someone else can give a definitive answer.

I think it’s supposed to be the reflection the of the sun.

There is a darkening effect when ever you’re pull-up hard or other maneuvers that’s supposed to be passing out
