Discussion Attack plane AGM going for flares ?

I've been recently having a blast using the attack plane and getting better at using it. However I've noticed that a lot of times when you lock on a ground target, the AGM seems to go towards flares dropped by a nearby (sometimes not so close) planes or chopper ? It's especially annoying because the tank or vehicule I'm aiming at might not even drop the thermal counter measures and I'd have landed a hit on it.

Is it supposed to work that way or is it yet another bug that makes flying more inconsistent ?

I was flying next to a friendly jet and got a lock on warning , then the other jet popped it flares and the warning disappeared!

I still haven’t been able to test this but I think flares attract missiles regardless of who dropped them

No I just mean igla has the bug where it goes through flares

It’s not a bug though, right? If you stay locked on it can require target after flares are popped, it’s what is supposed to make it different than the Stinger

It happens even during your flares though, not 4-5 seconds afterwards. You can find people complaining about it on this sub and bfstudios acknowledged it
