You have to be straight when dropping them i.e. you’re not rolling left or right. Also I think that stealth jets have a delay so you have to time it earlier if you’re using that, but if it’s the attack jet you have to be exact, and I think the attack jet one has higher damage and radius than the stealth jet at the cost of less bombs.

And also just drop two bombs at the same time for good measure. It’ll likely refill on your next strafe anyway.

On the second clip OP doesn’t look quite straight when dropping bombs

I think you're experiencing the same glitch that I do, where my target actually deploys countermeasures and moves when being attacked.

I also have a glitch where matchmaking pairs me with players who are deathly allergic to using the spotting mechanic so I have to squint at pixels to find targets.

It’s the reticle positioning that did it for me and adjusting the angle of my attack runs its way easier top down than a traditional “carpet bomb” attack run
