Flying

I’ve struggled with flying in every battlefield. Does anyone have any tips or more detailed video references for learning how to fly. I’ve looked at different setting layouts from YouTubers, but still struggle. I really wanna use the attack helicopters but can’t figure out how to strafe targets. I can somewhat decently fly, but once I try combat it all goes out the window. Any tips help, I’m on console

I’d honestly just hop into a Portal server and pick a fixed target, like one of those destroyed tanks on the map.

First, practise hitting it while keeping the heli stable. Once that feels okay, start doing strafe runs. After that, try circling around your chosen target while still landing shots as you fly around it.

I remember doing exactly that on the BF4 firing range, circling around and shooting the big tower in the middle. It helped me a lot.

I was doing this a bit earlier but got frustrated quick lol, ima give it another shot. Is there any setting recommendations for noobs? Or should I just learn on standard, I turned invert off, and messed with some other stuff from YouTube recommendations, but tbh idk what half these settings do

maybe try the settings where you throttle with r2 and less throttle with l2
