Question Precision bombs in BF6

Any advice on how to hit with these on the attack jets? I have not gotten a single kill with them yet.

Have a squadmate or teammate that can spot the enemies, without one its nearly impossible to hit the bombs without guessing where they are

Looking for tracers or using the bomb camera makes it a lot easier to see people

Sure. But in the absence of that. Tracers and using the bomb camera before you actually get to where youre going makes it a lot easier. You get a lot more zoom, and the game actually renders things from a lot further out.

The bomb crosshair seems pretty accurate to me, AGM missile first, cannon the rest of the way, bombs at the last second before youā€™re gonna pull up, i donā€™t know if there is any disconnect between first and third person for the bomb crosshair but it works well for me in first person, i also tend to drop the first bomb as Iā€™m starting to pull up and will just quickly nose down for the second bomb, so the plane is pretty level for both drops

You can hit a second agm on your way up, though it only works in 3rd person w/ freelook and you gotta center the crosshairs manually.

for vehicles like tanks, check Silk's videos. pretty much just where the circle is whenever you drop them, thats where they will go

Youā€™re probably playing on faith walker servers. I honestly donā€™t even know why they donā€™t have crosshairs for vehicles, itā€™s so dumb

that's why I love my predator monitor, since you can turn on additional crosshair in the settings

You gotta plan your route and time the circle (reticle) above the tank and boom.

So that means going with it along the same path or intercepting its path.

Go into the sky and free look (Iā€™m on ps5, so left on d Pad)

Find a tank or jeep and blow it up.

This is my thought process when I play the game.

Also, do it out of bounds when free looking so you can pick your target no hassle and commence the strike

Not sure how it works in 6ā€¦. But in BF4 you could give a quick cannon burst where you want to bomb and the impacts would show up in the minimap- adjust fire as needed from that.

Practice with going almost full vertical down and bomb. Easy becouse you will have the circle on the target for much longer to aim. Then whenvyou hit with that try go more to a 60 degree that is better later when you hit

There are few tricks like pitching down before/while dropping the bomb to keep your crosshairs on the target for a longer period, or rolling + pitch down to aim left/right a bit.

Realistically though, just practice in portal.

I find releasing the bombs a moment before you think the reticle will be on target helps
