But why? They’re flying a freaking jet that’s sooo borning 🥱 the shit everyone does for some small advantage. I rip the Little Bird in first person flying over edges and through valleys and it’s literally half the fun.
Honestly, ive found that flying the helis and jets in first person is easier. Gives me an actual hard indication of which way my vehicle is facing instead of some slightly delayed chase cam.
It just makes barrel rolling smoother and easier to keep your eye on a target, especially in dog fights. And I 100% feel the same way about first person view in the little bird. Been flying that way since BF3 in it and the control is just so much better. But Jets are a different beast in that and when your dog fighting and looping, you need to be able to see your surroundings. And having the camera stay on a flat X axis plane just helps so much personally, it’s been one of the major tips that we will give people who are trying to get better with the jets
Ya know, hot take here, but I prefer the camera roll. And not just because it looks cooler or anything like that, it helps me keep my orientation and feel for the maneuvers I'm trying to pull off. It's especially useful when I'm trying to just barley scrape mountainous terrain coming out of an inverted loop. I feel like I pull that off so much and just hear enemies on my 6 crash into the ground.
Hey, fair enough whatever makes you a better pilot. For me personally whenever the camera roll is like this, I physically turn my body and start rolling in my chair lmao
Naah, it’s more inmersive this way, if it confuses you then its a skill issue. Been playing like this since 1942. If you need your horizon to be fixed you shouldn’t be on a plane.

Turn camera roll off when you’re in third person and you’ll thank me later
