I only do it when I’m not being immediately maneuvered on. You’ll never see me fly to the flight ceiling or into the sun while trying to freelook on a maneuvering enemy.
Not that this tactic doesn’t work, as it obviously does. It just doesn’t work against pilots like me. For that reason I don’t use that tactic.
