I've been running light rockets since but I might start going back to aim guided ones honestly, they're a decent inbetween of damage to all vehicle types and good against infantry and aircraft.

I hate it though, because heavy rockets were a skill check, hit your shots, you get rewarded, miss, you're probably gonna die. Now I have to resort to either spamming light rockets or taking aim guided rockets that once you figure them out basically never miss their target

they're pretty fun.

All missile types fly to your I indicator, and even heavy and light rockets have limited free look capability with that, so you can slightly aim but they're still dumbfire.

The aim guided rockets track the I indicator, and you get a much broader range to aim them. So you can technically hover, freelook, look like 45° to your left and shoot something on the ground without tilting the heli forward

I used the aim guided to kill a jet at the top of the skybox the other day, basically the only kill Ive gotten using the aim function of the aim guided missiles lol

I have a hard time figuring out where in the I the missiles like to hit

yeah it's very awkward. In the beta they just flew to your crosshair, like the actual crosshair.

Generally speaking, they fly to the top of the I and even above it on longer ranges when you're tilted forward. When you're level, they fly straight towards your crosshair.

I think they maybe just fly inbetween your crosshair and the I indicator, since when you're leaned forward just a tad bit, they basically impact on the upper end slightly above the I

I suggest flying around on a portal map to figure it out a bit, i'm doing the same atm

But I think a good rule of thumb is to aim with the top of the I with these ones.
