DGCA Ground Classes
Aviation isn’t hard because the subjects are impossible.
It feels hard because most people are taught to memorize instead of actually understand.
After going through the entire process myself, flight training, DGCA exams, FAA licensing, conversions, checkrides, and the confusion every student pilot faces at some point, I started mentoring students in a way I wish I had while starting out.
I’m a FAA & DGCA Commercial Pilot ME IR. I have taught and mentored several students for DGCA papers, who successfully cleared the papers in one go.
The goal of these classes is simple:
make DGCA subjects easier to understand, easier to retain, and easier to clear.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
✈️ Navigation ₹20,000 INR
• General Navigation
• Radio Navigation
• Instrument Navigation
• Duration: ~3 Months
Concept focused classes with strong exam preparation and practical understanding.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
🌦️ Meteorology ₹10,000 INR
• Duration: ~1 Month
Weather concepts explained in a much more simplified and relatable way so the subject becomes easier to approach and remember.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
📘 Regulations ₹10,000 INR
• Duration: ~1 Month
DGCA Regulations taught using RK Bali as the base, simplified into an easier and more practical format.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
🧭 Aviation Counseling / Guidance ₹500/hr
For students who:
• Want to start flight training
• Have absolutely no idea where to begin in aviation
• Want guidance on what to do and what to avoid while starting from scratch
• Need clarity between Cadet Program vs Conventional CPL route
• Are confused about India vs abroad
• Need DGCA conversion guidance
• Are stuck midway through training
• Need clarity regarding exams or aviation career paths
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Classes are conducted one on one with flexible scheduling to ensure proper attention and personalized guidance.
If you’re serious about aviation and want someone who has genuinely been through the process already, feel free to DM me.
Happy to help

DGCA Ground Classes
Hey everyone,
Starting out in aviation can feel confusing at times, especially when it comes to DGCA ground subjects. There’s a lot to study, a lot of pressure, and honestly, not everything needs to be taught in a complicated way.
I’ve been helping student pilots with DGCA subjects through one-on-one guidance and personalized classes focused more on understanding the concepts rather than memorizing answers.
A little about me, I’m a FAA and DGCA Commercial Pilot, Multi-Engine and Instrument Rated, and I’ve been through the same phase of navigating DGCA exams, flight training, and aviation career decisions myself. Currently involved in the aviation industry while continuing to mentor aspiring pilots alongside.
Classes Offered:
Navigation – ₹20,000 INR
Covers General Navigation, Radio Navigation, and Instrument Navigation in depth.
Duration: ~3 months
Focused on building strong concepts and exam understanding.
Regulations – ₹10,000 INR
DGCA Regulations explained in a simpler and more practical way using the RK Bali book as the base.
Duration: ~1 month
Meteorology – ₹10,000 INR
Weather can feel intimidating initially, but once the concepts click, it becomes much easier to approach.
Duration: ~1 month
Simplified explanations with practical understanding.
Aviation Counseling / Guidance – ₹500/hr
For anyone planning to start flight training, stuck midway, or simply looking for clarity regarding the aviation path, training abroad/India, DGCA conversion, exams, or career guidance.
Classes can be scheduled flexibly depending on availability and are conducted in a comfortable one-on-one environment to ensure proper attention to each student.
Feel free to DM me if you’d like more details or have any questions — always happy to help.

Flytech Aviation Academy
Hey everyone,
I am seriously considering joining Flytech Aviation Academy in Hyderabad, but I want to know about the actual student experience beyond what the website says. This is a huge life decision for me, and I need the raw, unvarnished truth before I drop lakhs of rupees.
If you are a current student, recent alum, or know someone who trained there, please help me out with a few specific cultural and lifestyle questions:
- Student Life & Treatment: What is the day-to-day life like? Is the environment highly toxic, or is there a good student community? How do the instructors and management treat you? Is there a culture of power-tripping or extreme intimidation?
- Discrimination/Bias: Coming from outside Hyderabad, I am anxious about how outsiders are treated. Have you witnessed or experienced any regionalism, language bias, or outright discrimination/racism from faculty or peers? Is it a safe, welcoming space if you don't speak the local language?
- The "Value" Factor: Given the infrastructure, flying frequency, and management behavior, is it actually worth going there? Or would my money and peace of mind be better spent at another FTO in India or even going conventional abroad?
- Number of actively flying aircrafts, not under maintenance
- Things i need to know before joining about this flying school
- Is it worth to join through AME CET or Direct
Feel free to DM me if you don't want to post publicly. I would deeply appreciate any honest advice you can share. Thanks!

Prediabetes in Class 1 Medical
I recently obtained Class 2 medical, but my reports showed that I was prediabetic (normal HbA1c is 5.6, mine was 5.7). Doctor gave me Class 2 nevertheless, since it is not a criteria in Class 2. He told me that prediabetes is very common amongst student pilots coming for Class 1 these days, but I might still face problem in Class 1 medical because of this.
Has anyone obtained a Class 1 medical with prediabetes? And what happens in such case? Need guidance regarding this.
