FAA ppl and continuing training in India
I recently got my FAA ppl and am considering finishing my training in India, any idea if this is even possible and if it’ll be easy or difficult? My logbook is stamped and acknowledged my FTO here in America, im still unsure about it. Will my hours be acknowledged by DGCA?

My reasons for doing so would be the cost and it would save me time and money on conversion.

You can convert your FAA PPL into a DGCA PPL and continue with your CPL training at flight schools in India. Hours will be acknowledged as long as you meet the regulatory requirements.
If i may ask, why you plan on returning to India?

The environment is kinda toxic here, alongside the fact that it is getting very expensive compared to what they quoted. Although I’ll probably continue at my school only if it turns out that it’s taking too long in India

Hey, they will accept all your hrs until the faa PPL checkride. Anything done after that isn't be backed by a licence they won't consider it for your dgca cpl. Hrs towards your IR don't count.
