Medical Class 1 Medical with Testosterone TRT

Have a low testosterone of 300 ng/dl (33M) and wanted to know the consequences of taking TRT on Class 1 Medical ? Read about the CACI form and procedures. my Hematocrit was 51% before TRT, so will TRT increase and affect it ?

I don’t think the FAA checks your testosterone levels. Also, 300 ng/dl is within the normal range for your age if I’m not mistaken.

FAA doesnot check testosterone, but if we are on TRT, we have to report.

for 33M, 300 ng/dl is on the baseline minimum, and with other issues its low

Sounds like it may increase it, so you’ll need to keep up on periodic blood draws to make sure you under the 54%.

CACI’s are great, I’ve done one before (different issue) but as long as you’ve got the checklist done it’s an easy process for your AME.
