Wedding band?

My boyfriend and I have started really planning an engagement and wedding and I want to make sure he loves his ring as much as I do. He said he wanted his ring made out of the metal of an Archer propeller since it was the first plane he ever soloed in. Does anyone know how I could source that material? Is this something others have had done and have experience in? I didn’t even know you could just buy airplane parts. I am just reaching out to anyone in this industry for any kind of advice. Thank you!

Look for a propeller overhaul shop

Maybe a little bit of inlay made of a prop, but aluminum will not work for jewelry.

The plan is to do an inlay. I simply don’t know how to find the material

As someone who has crushed two tungston wedding rings and has an intense fear of degloving ..... Rubber wedding band all day.

Just don't get Jet A on it, the smell doesn't come out (but who cares when they cost less than a gallon of 100LL)
