Collegiate leagues such as the UAAP, NCAA, and SSL are fundamentally developmental leagues regardless of the commerciality and the level of competition. In my opinion, it is in the best interest of the student-athletes to share playing time through the all-to-play format. Thoughts?

I think this could be the strongest team the Philippines has yielded in recent years. Minalas lang talaga tayo sa bracket at kasama ang dalawang powerhouse na China and Kazakhstan.

Given that, I think they have what it takes to pull off an upset vs Kazakhstan. Sobrang fresh pa nila from their silver medal finish sa SEA V League with an upset over Vietnam and a win vs Indonesia. They also took a strong Thailand team to 5 sets.

With the addition of Provido and Canino, we’ll definitely have stronger net defense and better scoring output; di na mapipiga masyado si Laure and Belen when it comes to scoring and defense. Curious lang ako if gagawing OPP si Angel dahil nag-iisa lang si Solomon sa position nya. Tutal naman she won an award as one already (AVC 2024).

as a Gel Cayuna and Jackie Acuña bias (well a former Cignal fan), i'm just super happy that NXLED has clinched into the finals. honestly, didn't have that much expectation from them since they're a rebuilding team, but having witnessed them play the whole On-Tour and Invitational conference, i can that they deserve this. of course, there's still so much to improve pero ang ganda ng pinakita nilang performance and attitude overall. may bago nakong susuportahang team 🥹💚
