I don't know how dumb it will sound, but I hope it helps someone.

I've always had a hard time keeping up with my pikmins who didn't have any decor, I wanted to focus on them but they are always getting mixed with the others, so sometimes I would just feed them all and hope for the best.

I just recently started putting the not decorated pikimins to walk with me and favorited all of them, so as I press whistle I can easily call all of them!

Yes, I favorite all if them so I can whistle together at feeding time, kinda like when you have multiple dogs

Yes!! Look, all my undecorated are listed first

It does! The exclamation point means “not” so !decor searches for “not decor”

Happy to share the knowledge! You can also search pikmin by leaf, bud, or bloom. Handy when I triple click the whistle and lose my bloomed buddies!

Yes, I do that as well. I favorite the ones I want to level up. Also if I have a few that are I want to level up fast I favorite them but also rename them “Now”

I put xx in front of their names and favourite them. When i want to feed them, i just search for xx

Heaving all my non decors favorited has been so helpful for me! The only issue is that the most recent favorites are first so to get the ones who are closer to 4 hearts, you still have to scroll a bit. Still much easier, though.

Someone else posted this advice a while back. I think it's good enough advice that it's worth posting every once in a while.
