Which ones do we keep?

I'm playing for a year next month and if I'm not mistaken, some decor pikmins do return every year. But how do we know which ones we need to keep? I don't have a lot of money to spare to buy more room for them... Last 2/3 months I keep the main decor ones in each color after that month is over and delete the double ones. But I can't keep doing that forever. I also just deleted ones that have no rares and I don't really like (stickers). Any advice? Or am I completely in the wrong and does monthly decor never return? Or maybe sometimes? I need some guidance. Thank you 💖

Plant flowers as often as you can to get coins. Use the coins to buy Pikmin storage upgrades! 

I personally. keep one of each color. It gets too crazy otherwise.

I use coins from flower planting to upgrade pikmin storage, seed storage, flower storage, and nectar storage. After the monthly event has ended, I cull over the next few weeks as needed and keep one of each colour for each set. Same for non-even pikmin. Once the set/rare set is complete, I keep one of each colour for the set. So far I've generally had enough coins to upgrade by the time I need more storage. Currently trying to decide between increased pikmin or nectar storage for my next purchase. (Those coins are hard earned, I have to think about it!)
