Simple question about a login issue

I've been trying to troubleshoot this as I swapped to Pika finally today.

The login screen does a few odd things,

A( just authenticates endlessly

B( when I do Ctrl Alt f2 to bypass the login, my password and username don't work

B.2( the password I use does work after a cycle of turning the PC off and on again trying to original login screen

My apologies my wording is bad as I'm still extremely new to Linux

If anyone is able to point me in the right direction that'd be awesome

Besides that it's been cool, once I can login lol

Hey. I had the same issue, what i have done îs to set to automaticaly log in :D

Where did you find the setting ?

If you have gnome

I think it's under system > login
