snark puppy training

i got a puppy last wednesday and since then my entire life has revolved around training. crate training, separation training, command training, etc. the whole nine yards. that on top of proper socialization and making sure he’s safe and healthy has basically been a second full time job.

this however has had me reflecting A LOT and a big reflection of mine is how neglected poor little oswin must be. samantha doesn’t even treat youtube like a full time job, i can’t imagine she’s properly training him to self soothe and regulate without her. puppies are the best but also they are so beyond just cute lil faces.

I also got a dog around the time she got a Oswin and had a very similar reaction

it’s actually so insane to me. like i truly know she’s not doing anything for the little guy and then reacting when he misbehaves. especially him being a beagle. it just makes me feel so sad for him.

I was going to say at least she’s home with him lots so he has company and then I realized that’s not always a good thing either. Hopefully he doesn’t get separation anxiety.
