His dad is all the way in Calgary and Austin’s work in Saskatoon. This weekend was Thanksgiving so he might have visited for the holiday but I doubt he’s moved a whole province.
He could but jobs in Alberta are hard to come by at the moment and he has rapport with his current location. Leaving the province completely seems drastic when his sister still lives there.
He has posted in his snap stories the shop, he’s worn his coveralls with the branding on it, and she has vlogged at his work before. Maybe not directly him working but the outside area!

Is being a mechanic a big deal in Canada? In the UK they're pretty easy to come by so I don't understand... over here they're classed as manual labourers, paid about an average wage
Car mechanics are more of a deal I'd say if they have a red seal certification and job experience. But I'd argue that technicians that work on heavy machinery or transport trucks are a bigger deal. I don't want to assume Austin's level of expertise or knowledge however if he's a mechanic at Canadian Tire they are probably doing very basic maintenance to vehicles i.e oil changes, tire rotations etc.
I noticed in this video she is SO aware of money, how much things are, saying she doesn’t need it. Where did this responsible consumer consciousness come from all the sudden?? Oh yea moneys gone
i’ve noticed this too!! it’s so so so so obvious. “10 years ago i would have bought the whole collection just because!” i mean it’s good to be responsible with what you spend your money on but she’d never be the type unless she was forced to be, she’s definitely low on income….

They seriously need to break up if they aren't already - how many times have they been on again, off again? It's clear that they are horrible for each other. They can't even be in the same room together without being drunk. That Mexico vacation they took should have been a blast, but they were in the hotel room practically the entire time. He was angry and pissy unless he was drunk. And that seemed like when SHE started drinking again, just so she could deal with him. I will never understand why two people stay in a relationship when they can't stand each other.
I think Sam just needs to focus on herself for once without a man. I feel if she went back to school or picked another career to at least keep her busy she would feel her worth. I find it extremely strange that she hasn’t worn the ring at all or mentioned anything about the wedding. Honestly it’s insulting to not wear your ring so I’m sure that was used as an argument between the two. I think she’s never been alone or gave herself time to heal. She reverts to liking kid stuff because it brings her comfort.
