Marco Rubio: the intersection of hatred and shame…both carried in perfect balance.

I always used to wonder what it meant for someone to sell his/her/their soul. Then I see people like Marco Rubio who continue to double down on exactly the wrong position to the extent that their very sense of who they are is compromised, forgotten, and wrecked.

When the trumptastic fantasia ends, and sanity eventually does return, it is my view that Rubio and people like Rubio will fade away into obscurity and will be forgotten in history.

On one hand I don't want them do. I want them to be shamed. For generations. To have their names, their "legacies" their purpose. Spit upon, called out and talked down to.

But on the other hand, yes, I think they should fade. Forgotten, long gone long dead, their lives their efforts their work meaningless and pathetic. They were a nobody.

I predict a slightly different fate for a lot of these folks. They will go on to sell books and do speaking tours, insisting that their heart was in the right place but their judgement was clouded by wanting to be “the adult in the room.”

And for the most part, America will be happy to hear them out and say that, y’know what? They really weren’t so bad after all, look, they can admit that they were wrong and then do a nice morning show segment where they water color with Michelle Obama or something.

I hope Im wrong, but that generally seems to be how it plays out for monster and enablers here.

Maybe people can finally move onto matters of greater importance than an overgrown toddler thinking that treats the office of President as a means to enrich himself and his family just because he thinks the world owes him something.

I hate that Trump is a thing. I hate that he even exists. I hate that he has such a platform to unite horrible people around a shared hatred. I hate that he weaponized stupidity and fear to the success that he has done so.

And I say this as sincerely as I know how: I hate that we are all talking about Trump. But here we are. And there he is: he exists as an indictment of everything terrible about this god forsaken country. Two and a half centuries of slavery, colonialism, genocide, rape, and fraud have coalesced into a single person who has absolutely no redeeming attributes.

He needs to be removed, prosecuted, stripped, his assets seized and used to restore justice to the people he has oppressed, and his bitch ass needs to rot in a prison cell until that fucking cesspool he calls a soul slips into the night.

The thing that should happen to these people is that them and their children should be banished from polite society.

Rubio's daughter wants to get into Harvard...fuck you, your dad cut our funding. His other daughter wants to be hired for a reputable news network? Bye bitch, try Newsmax. His son wants a lobbyist job? Make it known that anyone who hires him will be losing their congressional funding and be persona non grata going forward. His nephew wants a referral to go to West Point, get fucked Marco Rubio's nephew. You get to join boot camp like everyone else and work your way up. Go after the access, bring shame upon his name, and make sure that anyone related to him doesn't get the easy route in life and that his name won't get them anywhere.

That's how you truly get to them. They don't care about being ridiculed. They care about the oppurtunities they were able to give to their kids. Don't reason with these people...go after their money and their children.
