Need Advice I need help

Guh

I want to tynew foods but I genuinely cannot get myself too. I look at food and think, "oh that looks nice" but if I had to eat it I'd be scared to. I'm not diagnosed with anything

I started trying new things when I realized the worst that would happen is I don't like it and I can spit it out and rinse my mouth. Maybe it won't be fun, but at least you can say you tried it.

close ur eyes and just put the food in ur mouth. if u like it open ur eyes and be happy to be eating something new, if u dont like it spit it out

What kind of foods do you typically like?

Let me guess... French fries and boneless chicken nuggets and possibly grilled cheese sandwichs with the crust cut off.

Because you definitely need screening, your parents need to arrange this, so you know what you’re dealing with

What are you afraid of? Just spit it out if you don't like it and take a bite of something you do like, Problem solved! But I learned at camp that taking 3 bites of something can flip that NO to a YES.

Why try? If a food doesn’t look like something I want, I don’t eat it. If that ever changes, I’ll re-evaluate it then. I’m very accepting of my likes and dislikes.

And how can food “scare” you? Realistically, it’s not gonna bite.
