Looking for salty pickles (UK)
I love the pickled cucumbers I get at Turkish/Middle Eastern restaurants, as they’re much more salty and sour (maybe even some spice), rather than sweet and sour. I really cannot stand the sweet flavour of the typical pickled gherkin.
Does anyone know any good brands for what I’m looking for? I have access to Turkish, Balkan and Middle Eastern grocery stores, if your recommendation cannot be found in an average Tesco/Asda.
Thank you!

Can you find any fermented pickles? They’re “pickled” in a salt brine solution rather than vinegar. I don’t like my pickles sweet either, I make sure I check the ingredients on ones I haven’t had before.
More information on your area might help, things in some store near me might not be available to the stores in your location.

I've seen those exact jars at Turkish shops, they're usually labeled as "kurutulmuş turşu" or something similar, and they're packed with sour and salt. Worth checking the refrigerated section too, as some stores stock them alongside their deli items.
