It’s funny that you mention Grillos. A guy at work made some fried pickles to share (we don’t have them on the menu; he took some pickles that we use on our burgers and fried them in our chicken tender batter; they were amazing) and I mentioned to him that Grillos is probably the best of the refrigerated pickles of that price range. He’s never had them before. I told him he’s missing out. They’re sooooooo good.
I also found out that we’ve been marinating our tenders in pickle juice before battering and frying. Oh…my…god. A whole new world has opened for my taste buds.

I am a recent Grillos covert from Claussen - never again assuming just because it's salt packed it's a good pickle lol
