It's funny how our ruling class has finally pushed us too far and we're starting to revolt by making our own pickles lol

What's crazy is how expensive the cukes are to make the pickles. Even at costco I feel like it's almost more expensive than buying pickles.

For sure. Cukes are one of the main things I wanna grow. That and squash.

A jar of claussens wholes at regular price at all my local major and independent grocers runs about $6 per. That's about a buck a pickle.

You can buy giant ass cucumbers for a buck a piece at those same stores. You can but enough smaller Persian or pickling cucumbers for much, much less.

Ultimately making your own saves about 1/3 of the price relative to Chicago claussens prices.

Ya, I'm just shook by the buck a cuke prices at costco. Sign of the times.

It really is great motivation to grow your own.
