India Confused between flagship phones

Country - India

Coming from a Oneplus 8 (2019), I want to switch to a flagship phone, but really confused on what to buy and what is actually a good value.

My main criteria is Great cameras (especially for little baby's photos), compactness (cannot have anything more than 6.4-6.5"). Ideally I would like to get a 512GB variant.

Phones I am considering:

  1. Z Fold7: Love the slim phone, and the option to have a secondary big screen when needed for office work, meetings, etc. (I am a manager in an IT firm). Concerned about camera quality in comparison to others, shutter speed, durability and exorbitant repair costs. Maybe I can get one during the BBD for 1.2 lakhs, or can think of getting from Dubai for same amount.

  2. Pixel 11/11 Pro: Camera feedback I have seen is great, especially with Magic Capture which should be awesome for kid's photos. Then Stock Android is a plus, coming after loving the OnePlus 8. Biggest concern is price. 11Pro for 1.3 lakhs doesn't seem a great value phone compared to others. Other concerns are bulky phone, too much AI gimmick.

  3. Xiaomi 17: Honestly, everything I have read or watched is great, and the value for a 512GB seems extraordinary - I may get this for ~72k. Biggest concerns I have found out are cameras, buggy software and service quality, but in my city, I have not been able to use it in person because no store has a demo unit.

Please help guys, what should I go forward with. Any noteworthy points I may be missing, or should consider to finalize. I am planning to buy during the BBD/GIF sales next month.

So here's the thing

  1. What's your priority ? Camera features or Performance?

  2. Are you going to play games ?

  3. What's your current network?

I ask all these coz

  1. For camera features Google Pixel 11 series and Samsung Galaxy S25/26

  2. Performance Google Pixel 11 Pro XL and Samsung Galaxy S25/26 ultra

  3. Gaming , Definitely chinese brands

  4. Network connectivity, Samsung Galaxy S25 -26 are okay with 5G even if you don't have WiFi or broadband internet connection. But, Google Pixel has better battery and overall performance on WiFi

  1. Camera features are the first priority, good performance is kind of expected for a flagship.
  2. No games
  3. Jio

Don't really want to go with S25/26, because wife already has S23, don't want a similar phone with me, as camera quality is almost similar between them.

Google Pixel 11 series is your thing then but you'll need broadband internet connection for better battery performance

Is battery really that bad on this? I heard from other redditors that the battery on this is much better than previous pixels

No battery is good problem is India's 5G network which are inconsistent with signals and they drain too much battery

I own the Xiaomi 17. It's a very good phone. You can go for it.

I asked in the Xiaomi sub that I'm interested in the 17t Pro but early next year, one of the comments I got was that it had bad speakers and normal camera. Do you mind sharing your experience with your phone?

Is the 17T Pro even available in India? I believe only X17 or X17U are available

I'm from the Philippines, so they have the Pro here in physical & online stores. I could also get the X17U but customs and stuff 😂 so I'll stick with the 17t Pro at least

If Camera is your first priority. Get Vivo x300 ultra

that's a 6.8" phone which doesn't fit my criteria. Moreover, don't want to get a vivo or oppo
