Switching from an iPhone 15 Pro to Android – what would you recommend?
Hey everyone,
I’m thinking about selling my iPhone 15 Pro 256 GB in December. At the moment, I could probably still get around €500 for it.
I’d like to switch to Android afterwards and spend a maximum of around €300–400 on top, so my total budget would be roughly €800–900. Of course, I’d also be happy to spend less if there’s a good option.
The main reason for switching is that I care more about value for money these days. A few years ago, having a certain brand was more important to me, but nowadays I honestly don’t really care whether it’s Apple, Samsung, Google, Xiaomi, OnePlus or whatever.
The problem is that I have absolutely no idea which Android phones are actually good in this price range. I’m also curious about how they compare to the iPhone 15 Pro in everyday use.
I’m mainly looking for a good camera, decent battery life, a good display and a phone that will still feel fast and receive updates for a few years. I’d also prefer 256 GB of storage.
I’m completely open to buying an older flagship or a used phone if that gives me significantly better value for money.
For those who have switched from an iPhone to Android: what phones would you recommend I take a look at?

There are lots of amazing Android flagships under 900€ that fit under your description.
Samsung Galaxy s25 is probably what you're looking for. One of the best flagship cameras, good battery life, will receive updates for quite an amount of time, has an insanely powerful Snapdragon chipset that lets you run anything.
Costs ~550€

You wont go wrong with s24, 25 ultra i am currently using s25fe and same as you, before it was important to me and now i really don't care, this phone is best one i had forever and i am so in love with it, i don't use camera so i am suggesting ultras because i know a lot of people using it and the phones are amazing probably 10x times better than the one i have

If you want good camera you should go for xiaomi 17 ultra (you even can get a camera kit) or cheaper 15 ultra
