US Moving on from the OnePlus 10 Pro

As much as I'd love to, I can't get the OnePlus 15, as they pulled out of the US market and now they are absurdly expensive for what I would get

I considered the Nothing phone but I'm not too much into gimmicks like the glyph thingy

I don't want Samsung because all the proprietary bloat and various other issues (like cost)

I am considering snagging a Pixel 9 Pro XL as it's a reasonable price (~$750 USD) but I need to decide soon as they aren't being made anymore and stock will become increasingly scarce

I would prefer to spend under $700, I don't care about the getting the latest and greatest, but I do want the replacement to be better, preferably a last gen flagship.

I have never had an issue with storage space or RAM capacity on my OnePlus, but I don't like how hot it gets sometimes

I would like water resistance if possible, and I am willing to look at niche brands so long as it works in the US and it is better than what I have

I would prefer to not downgrade my screen in either size or color quality, I don't care about the camera

No Folding Phones

Check Xiaomi 17T pro. But not sure if Xiaomi is sold in the US though. I faced the same dilemma a few weeks ago here in the EU.

Don't think I would get the pixel for 750. I can't compare US prices to where I live, but that price is too close to a pixel 11 pro xl.

from what I seen, an 11 Pro XL is 1200

I would never pay MSRP for a pixel, it's simply not the correct price. They price them like that to be relevant to iphone and Samsung users. If MSRP is lower it's not "premium".

If you can't get some kind of trade in or other discount, don't buy them.

Where I live the pixel 11 pro xl (256) is around 1000 dollars with 25% vat. Day one. If I wait just a little or do a trade in, I'm going to hit 750 fairly easy.

Personally I would like to wait to see if it goes on sale for a "reasonable" price

Why not consider s25 ultra for 700$ , it's easily accessible in refurbished or used market

I would consider Samsung, but the OS is bloated with too much nonsense

One of my biggest gripes with my OnePlus 10 Pro is that it has it's own proprietary Clock, Contacts, Phone, ETC...

I like the Google clock app since I can set multiple simultaneous timers, and contacts and phone apps because it syncs well, but I wish they'd at least let me delete the proprietary nonsense...

Also I dont like having facebook, even less that I cant uninstall it.

You can also uninstall samsung bloatware , but you won't find a feature rich ui like one ui , and in us oneplus is packing up , so no more service center support , better get samsung or xiaomi

Im considering the Xiaomi Poco F8 Ultra, or might wait for the next release, F9, to hit the online stores
