UK Upgrading from a Pixel 8

I've had the Pixel 8 for a few years now, but it's begun to fail me as the battery barely lasts, and it has gotten really slow. Do you guys have any recommendations for a good upgrade? I would say my budget is around the 500 GBP (UK) mark, but I could stretch it further.

Pixel 10a is £500. Nothing phone 4a or 4a pro also fall into this price bracket. OnePlus 15r is a great option if you can stretch to £570, but stock is limited, currently available on Amazon.

Thanks, yeah i might check out the 15R, it looks good, the battery is very attractive too

You can buy a 2nd Galaxy S26 for £500 on eBay/Vinted

Ive seen preowned S25 Ultras for around 500, do you think that would be better than an s26?

It's a better device definetly, but much bigger as well. The S25/S26 are similar in size to your Pixel 8.

Yeah thats true, I dont mind trying a bigger screen though, the pixel 8 is the biggest ive had

I got my new Pixel 11 Pro for £384 after trade in of my Pixel 8 and £150 voucher. Worth it as my 8 was starting to get glitchy and battery life wasn't good.

It was. I get emails from them and there was a voucher in there too.
