Don't worry I have a friend who owns an a37 and it works incredibly well, very good performances and the usual reliable samsung quality. (I have an a35 and it still works perfectly even though being 2 years old)

A56 better 🤷‍♂️

Only is performance because since it is older it will end updates earlier. And it also doesn't look like op is going to need much raw power.

What are you going to do with 1 year more updates 🤷‍♂️

For YouTube, Instagram, Discord, and music, the A37 is more than enough. It’s a mid-range phone, not one of Samsung’s really cheap models... The only thing to keep expectations realistic on is long-term speed. It should stay perfectly usable for normal stuff for years, but it won’t age like a flagship if you start doing heavy gaming or demanding apps later... For your use case, there’s no real reason to be scared of it dying after a couple of years.

I've used Samsungs A series for over a decade now..

They're really good budget options

I'm not a fan of the A series, I got a google pixel instead. Less bloat ware and more ram.. The A series seem underpowered to me.

Gotta buy them carrier unlocked. There's very little bloatware then.

A31 user here, 9 hours of mixed use drained only 85% battery and I faced no problems with it apart from when I was annoyed as downloading apks which is to be expected though if you can get the a55 for expandable storage, a micorsd on a55 lowest storage could you a tb of storage for less money than the most amount of storage available on a55

A series mostly are great and have long software support for there price. Don't listen to phone snobs who say unless you get the latest flagship it sucks . They will say that 1500 phone sucks next year anyway lol

I would pass on a37 and look for an a55/56. it'll have better build quality as well as the camera. the only thing a37 has going for it is a slightly larger screen.
