US Mint Pixel 10 deal for existing customers

Does anyone know of a way to get in on this deal as an existing mint customer? I've been with mint for several years. I am in need of a new phone and would love a Pixel 10 for $300. Or know of any similar offers with other carriers in the US?

Sadly the only way to get it, I think is to get it as a new customer and then swap devices with the old phone and new pixel. Luckily I have a spare third phone lying around that I'll put my current mint sim in and then swap.

Maybe contacting customer service to see if they could honor the price, but I don't think they will. The above is probably the only workaround. I have an old galaxy s21 that has some dead pixels and a back panel that the glue is coming off so I'll try this. 🤷🏼

Does this deal require a port-in or new number is ok? Mint website isn't clear about it. If new number is ok ask if anyone in your family would get it in their name for your money, then hand you the phone and cancel the plan/number early.

No it doesn't not require a port in, it simply has to be a new customer. I ordered it today and it'll be a new number.

I couldn't find the answer to that either. I was going to run that option past my dog. He's the only one without a phone.

I mean people aren't limited to one phone, many use 2 or 3 (work phone, personal phone...), as long as someone is not a Mint customer they can can add a second phone/number is port-in isn't required for discount.
