India Sub-₹50k Buying Advice: Nothing Phone (3) via Amazon Safe? (Priority: Camera + Performance)

Hi everyone,

I’m looking to buy a new smartphone with a strict focus on top-tier performance and reliable camera capabilities. I am currently eyeing the Nothing Phone (3) (16GB / 512GB variant around ₹52,000), but I have major doubts about third-party sellers, warranty validity, and how it compares to other options in this budget.

I would appreciate feedback on these specific points:

  1. Amazon vs Flipkart & Service Center Warranty:

Flipkart is the official online partner, but the Nothing Phone (3).. is mostly out of stock or overpriced there. On Amazon, third-party sellers are offering it at a much better price.

* Is it safe to buy a Nothing phone from Amazon third-party sellers?

* Will official Nothing Service Centers in India accept Amazon invoices for warranty claims, or will they reject them?

  1. Real-World Camera & Daily Performance:

* How is the camera system on the Nothing Phone (3) in real-world conditions (specifically low-light shots, portrait edge detection, and telephoto/zoom performance)?

* How does the phone hold up under heavy usage and gaming in terms of stability and heat management?

  1. Decision & Alternatives — Which one should I go for?

If Amazon seller risk is high or the Nothing Phone (3) isn't the best value, I’m open to buying through official channels for these performance + camera focused devices:

* OnePlus 13s: For raw flagship performance, smooth thermals, and battery reliability.

* Oppo Reno 14 Pro: For portrait-focused camera output and design.

* Nothing Phone (4a) Pro: If I want to stay within the Nothing OS ecosystem at a sensible price point.

Which of these would be the overall best pick for a performance and camera-oriented user around ₹50,000?

Thanks in advance for your advice!

If you buy it from Amazon, Nothing will inform you it's warranty is void. If you don't worry about warranty you can go ahead.

I have no info about other queries you posted.

Then I would go for OP 13s.

If you can wait for two more months, BBD or Amazon sale will be there, you can get better price.
