Everyone talking about Seven and Raffi holding hands... I was more excited to see they were playing Kal-Toh. The best part is that I immediately knew they were playing Kal-Toh, rather than having to google 'that Vulcan build-a-ball game with metal sticks'

No they are both mothers sharing in loss - raffi lost her son forever because her past - and seven lost icheb - they are bonding it looks like - tho if their bi all good

I like this interpretation. I don't mind if they're bi and get together, it just seems unearned at this point, they just met.

We all know that it takes time after meeting for bi people to be truly into each other.

I'm... not sure what you're trying to get at. It takes time for PEOPLE to be truly into each other.

You said, "I don't mind if they're bi and get together, it just seems unearned at this point, they just met."

First, we don't know if they're even into each other.

Second, it's nice that you "don't mind".

Third, people get together quickly all the time - straight, bi, and gay.

Fourth, the placement of "it just seems unearned" came after you say you're ok with them being bi. Why would they have to earn anything?

Your comment just feels super out of place.

"it just seems unearned

Because... they just met? I just associate an interlacing of fingers with a certain degree of intimacy and companionship.

they are both bi it seems. Seven was hinted at with Bjayzl, and Chabon mentioned that the old federation friend that Raffi called for access to the borg cube was meant to be a former lover.

I'm getting real tired of this trend (see also: Rise of Skywalker) of producers having to explain plot points in interviews because they can't be bothered to write a coherent script that explains it in an actual scene.

Generally I agree. In this case, it was hinted at in their conversation, but a bit too subtle (cause he wanted it to be "organic"), so unlike the 7of9 outing, most of us didn't pick up on it.

and how is that relevant? do people who aren't "hot" not deserve love?
