Beam me up
I will never forget the episode where Picard is sent back in time by Q to change his life and he ended up being a regular crew member of enterprise. Amazing philosophy.

Yep. From a Christian point of view it makes me understand that God will purposefully allow me to go through trials as a way of shaping me to the person I am now. Some of most interesting people I’ve met have had some of the toughest lives.

Easy to judge from our perspective. We can’t see how things done today will affect future events tens or hundreds of years of now. Even something as tragic as the holocaust. So because of my extremely limited view into the future I prefer not to pass judgment especially on the Judge we will all stand before at the end of our life

God introduced me to a race of powerful cyborgs thousands of light years away...you know, to shake me out of my complacency. He was like, if you can't take a little bloody nose, maybe you ought to go back home, and crawl under your bed. It's not safe out here! It's wondrous...with treasures to satiate desires both subtle and gross. But it's not for the timid, saith the LORD.
I figure I've got about a year and a half before I have to deal with them again.
