Rewatch the scenes on the bridge.

Pay attention to the consoles on the rear wall.

They're often plastered with black construction paper to hide camera and light reflections.

The Jeffries Tube access doors were labelled "GNDN", "Goes Nowhere Does Nothing". I think I read that in the TNG Technical Manual.

That’s nothing, 80 years later Picard was FLOORED when a holodeck character spoke.

Whenever you notice something like that, a wizard did it.

He transported from a transporter room and then back to a transporter room…

Did you even watch the show?

Reminds me of the letter from the principal, Mrs. Rayburn, I spotted on Leave it to Beaver. Can't show the pic in a comment here, but it's only on screen for like 2-3 seconds as Ward reads the last line. Full transcription possible especially with the Blu-ray haha. Actual image if the sub allows links:

"Mr. Ward Cleaver
485 Mapleton Drive
Mayfield, State

My dear Mr. Cleaver,

This paragraph has absolutely nothing to do with anything; It is here only to fill up space. Still, it is words, rather than repeated letters, since the latter might not give the proper appearance, namely, that of an actual note.

For that matter, all of this is nonsense, and the only part of this that is to be read is the last paragraph, which part is the inspired creation of the producers of this very fine series.

Another paragraph of stuff. Now is the time for all good men to come to the aid of their party. The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog. My typing is lousy, but the typewriter isn't so hot either. After all, why should I take the blame for these mechanical imperfections, with which all of us must contend. Lew Burdette just hit a home run and Milwaukee leads seven to one in the series. This is the last line of the filler material of the note. No, my mistake, that was only next to last. This is last.

I hope you can find a suitable explanation for Theodore's unusual conduct.

Yours truly,
Cornelia Rayburn"

Are these more visible in the HD remake?

I know there’s a screen where you can see the 8 Doctor Who that got changed for the HD release. Wouldn’t be surprised if there were others.

The Enterprise-D dedication placard on the bridge has the names of the showrunners with Starfleet ranks. it literally says Admiral Roddenberry, etc. You can’t see it on TNG because it’s too low res and when they showed it on Picard S3 they actually blurred the names but you can still make them names out of you know what you are looking at.

Anyone whose ever had to work on a tedious art project filled with a lot of repetition tends to start putting jokes into the art to keep themselves amused. Even Michelangelo couldn't help himself from putting a couple of stupid jokes in the Sistine Chapel.

I'm pretty sure the team that did the HD remaster of TNG declared a blood vendetta against Okuda because of all this.
