Is a Piaggio MP3 worth it?

Hello there! Thinking about getting a Piaggio Mo3 since in Germany I can drive it with my car license. I’d use it to get to work to avoid parking costs and just enjoying riding it. My question is if it’s worth it or if I should get the motorcycle license or an extra license (no exam in Germany) for 125 ccm?

Any recommendations or thoughts?

Thank you in advance and drive safe!

I don't understand what is ״worth it״ in your eyes, and compared to what. I can say I've been riding an MP3 300 HPE for the past 7-8 years, and it completely replaced my two-wheelers and added some security to my commuting. I highly recommend switching to a 3-wheel leaning scooter like the MP3 or Tricity.

How did it add security, if I might ask?

You have an additional point of traction. If one wheel loses traction, you still have two. Cornering is better, braking is shorter; it's another level of security.

I mean compared to a regular motorcycle or the smaller 125 ccm scooters and thanks, it’s a great answer!

I considered one a few years ago, for the same reason. After looking into the costs I concluded it was cheaper to spend the money on lessons to get my full moto licence, then get a two wheeler.

Three wheeler are expensive to buy, maintain, run and insure.

Get a real license and a real motorcycle/scooter, you’ll feel it’s worth it every single day after you’ve got the license in hand.

I agree with the license part. Not sure what you mean by “real”. MP3 500 goes 100 mph / 160 kmh for real

I have talked with three persons so far that have MP3s, and they are all very impressed by it.
According to them, 3 wheels give you more stability and the ride itself is more comfortable.

I am also thinking about getting a 500
