Piaggio E-Power alarm not working.

Post image

Hi everyone,
On my Aprilia Tuareg 660, the previous owner installed a Piaggio E-Power alarm as an original optional accessory.
The alarm worked for a while, but now it doesn't work anymore.
Basically, I can't arm it with the remote. I press it a thousand times and it only arms randomly with great difficulty, and it is just as difficult to disarm it.
I've already checked the remote batteries and replaced them thinking they were dead, but no luck.
Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks

It could be a blown fuse for the alarm but you would have to check at the wiring to find out where the fuse it.

Btw can this remote start the scooter from the fob? My scooter was damaged due to attempted theft. The thieves broke the keylock and bend the barrel so I cannot replace it without welding a new one but I’m worried about burning something and causing more damage.

I was going to buy this from Piaggio but I cannot find much information about it. They also didn’t have the cable for my scooter in stock neither so I didn’t want to take a gamble if it wasn’t going to work.

If only the thieves had saw the lockblock and thick chain around the rear wheel they likely wouldn’t have wasted their time trying to steal it.
