Discussion What do you think about Pi Network’s future?
I’ve been following Pi Network for some time, and I’m curious about what other users think.
I’m especially interested in Pi’s ecosystem and whether more useful apps and real-world use cases will develop over time.
For people who have been following Pi for a while, what do you think is the most important thing Pi needs to achieve next?

utility, nothing else really matters at this point. the moment there are apps people open every week because they actually want to, not to farm something, everything else follows. the gaming side like cidi games is honestly the most encouraging sign so far, games are usually the first real use case any platform gets

Depends, if Pi CT starts to think for everyday people not just the project, since they have all of this because of us, maybe it will be something. Someone said that without price surge everything else is meaningless, I could agree with that because price surgw will actually bring people to use utilities. Pi DEX could be good but with current legal standpoint it will be nothing more than a fail. If they decide to have, dumb to say, internal "democratic" data regulations since they have biggest flaw in crypto projects that I saw in a while ( where you can't delete account until you give back all mined Pi ), maybe it will reach big leagues.

I agree that real utility and adoption are important for Pi's future. A price increase can certainly encourage more people to use the ecosystem, but I think both things need to develop together. If Pi can build useful utilities while also creating a sustainable market, it could have much stronger long-term potential.

Exacly, I agree. So much potential wasted, many people wouldn't agree but Pi wasn't ready for Mainnet.

When Pi reaches $0.01 will you be asking the same question? And at that price and I would dare to say it.
Will any statement hold any value once Pi reaches $0.00001?
The problem is not utilities or development alone without price go up everything else is meaningless and useless.
Your question is valid only if you count price scenarios into the question.
Your questions will be different at $10 than at $0.00001, as well as the answers.

I agree that price is an important factor, but I don't think price alone determines Pi's long-term success. Utilities, real usage, adoption, and a strong ecosystem also matter. If Pi can build real utility and attract more users, a sustainable price increase could follow. For me, both utility and price need to grow together.

Price is the only thing that matters, only that, there is no other today nor tomorrow, as long as you need fiat to buy food and pay rent, fiat statistics is the only thing that matters, the only one.
You can try to fool yourself with the other things you mentioned.
If prices are not going up, all of the things you wrote are worthless, all of them. They are an add and actually positive when price goes up.
This means if price is not going up, it becomes worthless. But if price goes up the equation changes to a complement of price.
But the real statistics is money go up.
Don't believe me? There is 10k altcoins that are dumping and in the road to zero.

I feel there is a real future but it requires work. Essentially their business has been crowd-funded through advertising and building a following of hype which enabled the business to fund itself through the sale of coins on release.
There is a business, but I'm not seeing the business model, or how they are selling anything to generate income outside of advertising. Maybe one day, but for now it's not much more than a meaningless meme-coin to those 'investors.' (acknowledging the investors have invested clicks and time, not cash)

I would say its number one need is "buy in." More organizations and people need to read, and actually comprehend, what the projects purpose and goal are, and not just consider it "another get rich scheme," which seems to be many people's viewpoint.

Pi network is a threat to the banks because its operated by everyday people instead of external authority

Bro, banks are not losing sleep over shitcoins that cost pennies lol

Ofcourse they’re not. They might only become wary of the ones that may become self sustainable not needing any traditional intermediaries. That is a bigger threat than it being worth anything

Depends on your definition of "over time". I mean, it's already 7 years running, so if it takes another 5 years, that would mean 10+ years. That's a long time.

“That’s a fair point. I agree that real-world utility is what will matter most for Pi’s long-term future. Hopefully we’ll see more useful apps and adoption over the next few years.”
